The Imperfect Street Photo
Det Uperfekte Street Foto, 331/365, Uge 48, Randers
Street photography is a form of documentary photography where the photographer and the subject are in real-life situations in public spaces such as Streets, parks, beaches, shopping malls or political meetings.
Street photography, however, does not require the presence of a street, people or city environment, the English definition says it's best. "The subject of the photographer can be absent from humans and may be the object or environment in which the image designs a particular human character in facsimile or aesthetic."
Street photography uses the clean photographer's techniques to show an objective, clean picture of something (apparently a "mirroring of society"). Many of the classical works of street art were created in the period between 1890 and 1975, which coincided with the introduction of portable cameras, especially the automatic cameras using the smaller format.
